Local and personal

One broker. A real relationship.

Born and raised in Shelby Township, I’ve helped Michigan families navigate Medicare and individual health insurance since 2013. You can meet with me in Rochester Hills or schedule a phone consultation from wherever you are.

Let’s talk
Questions that can change the answer

Medicare decisions are rarely one-size-fits-all.

The right recommendation often depends on details that generic mailers and call centers never ask about.

Still working after 65

Should I enroll in Part B now?

Employer size, current coverage, HSA contributions, and retirement timing can all affect the answer.

Leaving a job

Can I keep COBRA instead of Medicare?

COBRA and Medicare have important coordination rules. It’s worth reviewing the timing before you elect coverage.

Comparing paths

Medigap or Medicare Advantage?

We compare premiums, networks, travel, cost-sharing, prescriptions, and long-term flexibility—not just today’s health.

Common questions

What people usually want to know first

How are you paid?

You do not pay an additional fee for my insurance guidance. If you enroll in coverage through my agency, the insurance carrier may compensate the agency. Your plan premium is not reduced by enrolling directly with the carrier.

Do I need to be comfortable with technology?

No. We can handle the conversation by phone, and I can guide you through each step. Email is helpful for sharing plan information, but you do not need to be a technology expert.

Will you still help me after I enroll?

Yes. I remain available for questions about plan documents, billing, claims, provider searches, prescription issues, and future coverage reviews.

Do you review Medicare coverage every year?

Plan benefits and costs can change annually. I communicate important changes and help clients determine when a review is warranted, particularly around the fall Annual Election Period.

Why use an independent broker?

An independent broker can compare options from multiple insurance companies instead of representing only one carrier. The goal is to find coverage that fits your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and preferences.

More than enrollment

A broker should still be useful after your plan starts.

Choosing coverage is only the beginning. When something doesn’t look right, you should have a knowledgeable person to call.

Billing and claim questions

Help understanding charges, plan documents, and the next call to make.

Coverage appeals

Guidance when a service or medication is denied and you need to understand your options.

Pharmacy issues

Help reviewing formularies, restrictions, alternatives, and exception processes.

Provider searches

Assistance checking doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and network participation.

Annual plan changes

Clear direction when benefits, premiums, or coverage options change.

The bigger financial picture

Your healthcare choice affects more than your insurance card.

Medicare coverage can influence monthly retirement expenses, exposure to unexpected medical costs, prescription spending, travel flexibility, and how predictable your household budget feels.

That’s why I compare both the immediate benefits and the longer-term tradeoffs instead of recommending a plan based only on its premium.
